About Us

Located in Newton County, Georgia, USA, minutes east of Atlanta, we are a single county public library system serving one hundred and seven thousand county residents in a small town atmosphere.

The county seat, Covington, and the surrounding area is most noted for the many carefully restored manor homes, churches, ante-bellum estates and landmarks used in Hollywood productions. Leveraging a strong industrial base, visionary community leaders continue to develop significant growth of our communities and businesses.
