Fines and Fees

• Overdue Books, Paperbacks, Magazines, Videos, DVDs 10¢ per day, maximum $10
• Overdue Books From other PINES Member Libraries 10¢ per day, maximum $10
• Overdue Interlibrary Loan Books 50¢ per day
• Lost Card Replacement $ 2.00
• Out Of State User Fee (12 Month) $ 25.00
• Temporary Library Card (6 Month) $ 12.50
• Returned Check Fee $ 30.00 per check per incident or 5% of the amount of the check, per incident (whichever is greater)plus any and all fees assessed to Library by the financial institution declining the check.
• Fees to fully damaged items are assessed at current replacement costs plus a $10.00 processing fee.
• Fees for partial damage to items are assessed per a schedule that can be obtained at the Check In Desk.

Receipts: When checking out materials from the library you will receive a receipt that lists all titles and the date that each item is due back to the Library. If the receipt is lost you may call 770-787-3231 to find out when the items are due back to the Library, or you can login to your library card account in the PINES catalog to see what you have checked out and when items are due back at the library.

All fines and fees are payable with cash, check or credit card. Also, you may pay by mail if paying by check.
